Determining if someone has opened an e-mail from you or not is much more difficult to do. Due to privacy rules set up by major brands like Apple and even government regulations, locally or abroad, it is not guaranteed that any platform can successfully track who specifically opened an e-mail sent.

However, it doesn't hurt to take a look right? So the next time you are curious to know if Bob Smith, Jennifer Davis or any of your other contacts that you added to a campaign actually opened your e-mail, here's how to do it, step by step:

Step One: Log into your LinkU Dashboard and click on Contacts in the left hand navigation.

Step Two: Find the specific contact you are curious about and click on their name to pull up their record.

Step Three: Within their record, scroll down and locate the Campaign Events section and click to expand it.

Once you have this section expanded you'll see details on each event that has been sent to your contact. What you are looking for is the following:

REMINDER: Just because an e-mail event only shows "Delivered" that does not mean it wasn't opened. Again, due to world wide privacy regulations this is not a guaranteed measurement.

Final Thoughts: Every so often we are asked if we can see this detail for ALL contacts added to a campaign at a single glance. This is something that isn't built into our system because the data is absolutely not reliable or accurate.
