You can use promo codes to your FS packages and upgrades to offer discounts off your regular pricing. By adding a promo code, this will also activate the promo code box on your websites checkout/listing process. Important things to remember about promo codes!

A promotion code can only be used when paying for and creating a new listing. A customer cannot use the promotion code when purchasing upgrades after they have already purchased or created their listing.

You can create duplicate promo codes for primary packages or upgrade items, but only within their category.

Only ONE promotion code can be used by the customer when creating a listing, so promotions cannot be combined.

If your promotion will result in an amount due of $0, or free, then you must have the "None (Free Listing)" payment method configured and enabled.

To add a promo code, you can do so by logging into your control panel, then:

Enter a promotion name, this is used for your internal reference.

Enter a promo code. This is the code the user would type in.

Select which package or upgrade it applies to (you have to create multiple promo codes for each package or upgrade you want to offer a promo for).

Enter the value of the promo code. This is the discount that will be applied. Make sure not to enter an amount greater than the value of the item. To make an item free, enter the price of the item.

Select Active, to have the promo code active.

1. Click on FS Control Panel.
2. Click on Items &amp; Packages.
3. Click Add Promo Code.
4. Enter a promotion name, this is used for your internal reference.
5. Enter a promo code. This is the code the user would type in.
6. Select which package or upgrade it applies to (you have to create multiple promo codes for each package or upgrade you want to offer a promo for). 
7. Enter the value of the promo code. This is the discount that will be applied. Make sure not to enter an amount greater than the value of the item. To make an item free, enter the price of the item.
8. Select Active, to have the promo code active.
9. Click to Add Promo Code.

To edit or delete a promo code, you can do so by logging into your control panel, then:

Click the promo code you want to edit and make the changes as needed, or check the box to select a promo code, then click the Delete Selected button to delete it.
