In some cases you may need to change your listing property type from a Rental property to a For Sale property. You can change the property type of "like" listings generally easily. This means, if you can change a Residential listing, such as Single Family, Condo, Mobile Home, New Construction, etc. from a Rental listing to a For Listing, or vice versa. You cannot however change a Residential listing to a Commercial listing, or Land/Lot listing for example.
To change your Residential Rental listings property type to For Sale, do the following:
Log into the control panel.
Click on My Listings.
Click View/Edit Listings.
Find the listing you want to edit.
Click Edit Listing.
Scroll down to property type.
For the Property Type drop down, change it from Residential Rental to another property type.
Click to Save Changes.
The Rental Type will go away and now the listing will be a For Sale listing.
To change your For Sale Residential listings property type to Rentals, do the following:
Log into the control panel.
Click on My Listings.
Click View/Edit Listings.
Find the listing you want to edit.
Click Edit Listing.
Scroll down to property type.
For the Property Type drop down, select: Residential Rental.
Click to Save Changes.
A Rental Type drop down and other rental associated fields should appear now.
Select the proper Rental Property Type.
Click Save Changes.
