Yes you can. The format we offer as a part of the system is a URL such as:
http://123MainSt.YourDomainName.com
or
http://YourDomainName.com/?listid=123
or
http://YourDomainName.com/123
The second example uses a redirect and is already in place and ready for use.
Create a Sub Domain for your Listing
If you want to use the subdomain option (first example) You must create the URL for each listing you want to use the feature for. To do this, do the following:
Login to your website admin.
Click My Listings.
Click to View/Edit Listings.
Find the listing you want to edit.
Click to Manage/Edit Listing.
Click the link Create Sub Domain.
It will ask you for a name of the Subdomain. It defaults to the address of the property.
Click Add Subdomain.
The subdomain is added. You should now be able to access the listing using the URL you created.
To remove the subdomain...
Go to your admin's main menu.
Click the Tools icon.
Click on View Subdomains.
Select the subdomain you wish to delete.
Click Delete Selected.
Create a Short URL for your Listing
If you want to use the short URL option (third example) You must create the URL for each listing you want to use the feature for. To do this, do the following:
Login to your website admin.
Click My Listings.
Click to View/Edit Listings.
Find the listing you want to edit.
Click to Manage/Edit Listing.
Click the link Create Short URL.
It will ask you for a name of the short URL. It defaults to the listing ID of the property.
Click Add Short URL.
The Short URL is added. You should now be able to access the listing using the URL you created.
To remove the short URL...
Go to your admin's main menu.
Click the Tools icon.
Click on View Short URLs.
Select the short URL you wish to delete.
Click Delete Selected.
