It can be easy to give LinkU access to your YouTube channel (depending on your situation below). Remember if you need help, or prefer our team to do this for you, contact our support team.
Before proceeding, determine if you will be creating a NEW channel for your business, or if you already have one.
If you DO NOT have a YouTube channel which you already use for your business, then you will need to create one first. Follow the steps in this article to do that, then return to this page.
If you DO ALREADY HAVE a YouTube channel you use for your business, then proceed to the next step.
Please note: If you are using a personal YouTube channel for your business, and NOT a brand account, then you will need to convert your channel to a Brand Account YouTube channel first. Scroll below to find the section "Converting Your Personal YouTube Channel to a Brand Account".
If you are unsure if you have a brand account channel, continue the next steps anyway. If you are missing the Channel Managers section, then this means your YouTube channel is a personal channel, and must be converted or moved to a Brand Account.
Add LinkU as a Manager of your YouTube Channel
Follow the instructions below, or watch the video:
Add LinkU as a Channel Manager
Go to youtube.com.
Click on your profile image, then go to Settings.
From the Account tab, find the Channel Managers section. (If you are missing this option, then you will want to skip to the next section).
Click Add or remove manager(s)
Click Manage Permissions.
Click to Invite New Users.
Enter the email address [email protected].
Select Manager from the "role" drop down.
Click Invite.
This will send an invite to our team to manage your channel as needed.
Are you missing the Channel Managers section?
If you are missing the Channel Managers section, then this means your YouTube channel is a personal channel, and must be converted or moved to a Brand Account.

Converting Your Personal YouTube Channel to a Brand Account
You can set up and manage an account specifically for your brand. You can use certain services with it, like YouTube, to create an online presence.
You and others can jointly manage a Brand Account through your own Google Accounts. You won’t need a separate username or password. Your account can have multiple owners and managers.

Create a Channel with Your Business Name
Follow these instructions to create a channel that can have multiple managers or owners.
Sign in to YouTube on a computer or using the mobile site.
Click on Settings.
Click on Account.
Click on Add or manage your channel(s).
Choose to create a new channel or use an existing Brand Account.
Create a new channel by clicking Create a new channel.
Enter a name for your new business channel, (usually your business name).
Then, click Done.
This creates a new Brand Account.
Next, move your existing personal YouTube channel to your new brand account by following these steps:
In the top right corner of youtube.com, click your profile picture.
Click Switch account.
Sign in to the account associated with the channel you want to move.
Click on Settings.
Click on Advanced Settings.
Under Account information, click either Move channel to Brand Account or Move channel to your Google Account or a different Brand Account.
Enter your password.
Choose the account you want to move to from the list given. If the account you choose is already associated with a YouTube channel, click Delete channel in the box that pops up. Note: This will delete the channel that is already associated with that account. This means that any content associated with this channel (including videos, comments, messages, playlists, and history) will be permanently deleted.
Check how your channel name will appear after moving, then click Move channel. Important: This will delete any existing channel (along with all of its videos) that is already associated with the account that you're moving to. To
