Using & Managing Statuses, Categories and Tags for your Contacts

Learn how you can better organize your contacts by assigning a Status, Category, or Tags (aka tagging).

Creating and Managing Statuses, Categories & Tags

  1. Click to Expand 'Contacts'.

  2. Then expand 'Configuration & Settings'.

  3. Then go to 'Lead Settings'.

  4. Here you will find the option to add new categories, tags and statues, in addition to disabling default ones by turning them ON and OFF.

When you turn a category, status, or tag OFF, that means that option will not be available in the system for use. This cleans up the lists, so only the ones you want to use are displayed.

Keep in mind Default categories and statuses cannot be edited, they can only be turned OFF.
